One afternoon is reserved for a spa experience (massage, manicure, pedicure etc.). Cost is not included.

Day 1 

Arrive at Finca^ El Carmen del Pinar. Transportation provided from Armenia, El Eden Airport(AXM). Settle in and relax, possibly go out for dinner.

Day 2

Horseback riding at Cocora Valley*  followed by shopping at Salento*.

Day 3

Bike through the jungle on a railroad cart (full day), dinner at Finca.

Day 4

Mariposario Botanical garden followed by a coffee plantation tour.

Day 5

Leave for Airport, transportation provided. If you have a late flight and would like to do some exploring that day, we'll help arrange shopping or an excursion.    

Day 6

Departure, optional at no extra cost.

** Zip lining in the oldest natural forest in El Eden area,  Los Caracoleis in Montenegro. Best to go early in the a.m. before thunderstorms, which are more common in the early afternoon. If, in the unlikely event, that it is closed due to rain, we'll do another activity, much to choose from!

***This restaurant and excursion got rave reviews from February group, they highly recommended it. I missed it and can't wait to go!

Included in the price:

Room and board, daily breakfast is included. Each room has a private bathroom, TV, closet and a safe. Transportation to and from airport on arrival and departure day and activities (except for optional Monday activities) included.  One dinner at the Finca is also included. All. activities on itinerary included except for La Fonda, usually costs no more than $15 USD. This includes entrance entertainment and drinks.

There will be beer, wine, spirits and mixers available at the Finca for a discounted price, or bring your own bottle and we'll provide the mixers. Please let us know what specific drinks or snacks you would like to have available at the Finca. I'll make sure we have plenty of bottled water, though there has been no reports of illness due to the water.
